Welcome to Ocerico Sloughis, exhibitors and breeders of the Sloughi, the rare breed of sighthound from northern Africa: Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Algeria.
Ocerico Sloughis is home to the top-winning Sloughis in the U.S. for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and the first UKC Grand Champion Sloughi in history. Our Sloughis are not just show dogs, but family members who live in our home. For this reason, we breed only rarely, and our Sloughi puppies are lovingly raised under foot.
We have been involved with Sloughis for more than ten years and have been active with sighthounds for more than 20 years, including Sloughis, Afghan hounds and Rhodesian ridgebacks. Our Sloughis participate in both conformation showing and lure coursing and we are active in the American Sloughi Association, the AKC National Parent Club for the Sloughi in the United States.
